Contract with NIOT for Deep Ocean Simulator

Chennai, 09/01/2025 – Engineered Pressure Systems International (EPSI), Temse, Belgium is pleased to announce the signing of a contract with the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai, India for the delivery of a state-of-the-art Deep Ocean Simulator. The simulator, designed to facilitate advanced research and testing, will feature a vessel with a diameter of 1.25 meters, a working length of 3 meters, and the capability to withstand an internal pressure of up to 1500 bar.
This high-performance unit will be instrumental in testing deep-sea unmanned equipment designed to operate at depths of up to 6000 meters. The collaboration between EPSI and NIOT marks another milestone in advancing oceanic research and technology.
